Best Case Fans for Airflow

Best Case Fans for Airflow – Having a high airflow fan does improve the overall cooling performance of the case and of the internal components. However, you have to compromise a little bit on the noise levels. These high CFM PC fans may not be the quietest performers because of their higher RPM but they are capable of moving or pushing a lot of air. Yes, there are a couple of high airflow fans that are pretty silent and have noise level ratings below 30 dBA, but they are generally more expensive and may fall short on performance compared to higher RPM fans.

Best Case Fans for Airflow – High static pressure fans may or may not generate high airflow, and even if they do then airflow is more focused with greater force so that air can penetrate in the small spaces and between the fins of the heatsink so that it can be cooled down quickly. On the other hand, airflow fans are used as case fans, both as intake or exhaust fans and their main job is to move large volume of hot air out from the case which is generated inside the case due to components (GPU, CPU, RAM, HDD, etc.), but if it is used as an intake fan then it has to bring large volume of cool air into the case.
