Best Rgb Air Coolers

Best Rgb Air CoolersRgb Air coolers use a fan and heatsinks and sit on the CPU. All-in-one (AIO) coolers have a radiator, fans, and a pump for liquid cooling. They both have their pros and cons and come in different sizes and different prices. The best one for you depends on your particular requirements and budget.

One of the best ways to show off your build is with RGB lighting. It comes in a dizzying amount of colors and adds flair and style to your PC. These days you can even sync your RGB CPU cooler to match your other components like your mouse, keyboard, headset, or even the case itself.

1.Cooler Master Hyper 212

Features

OUR TAKE

The cooling fin stack looks very similar to the Hyper 212 models of years past, but with some improvements.  A milled aluminum mounting block is fixed to the heatpipes of the  Evo v2 and provides much needed relief from the struggles of installing the original 212’s with the adjustable swing arm mount.  The cross-section of the cooling tower reveals offset heatpipes and an ‘open’ fin stack which allows airflow to escape at any angle.

The milled aluminum base has an aggressive saw-tooth milling that allows it to function not only as a mounting plate, but also to aid as additional thermal dissipation.  The tension mounting screws are maintained with washer clamps, further adding to the improved mounting system

2.AMD Wraith Prism LED

Features

OUR TAKE

AMD is pleased to offer market-leading premium Wraith Cooler thermal solutions for Socket AM4 and AMD Ryzen processors.  Our current solutions, the details of which can be found at AMD Wraith cooling solutions, use four heat pipes and AMD has no plans at this time to introduce a new AMD Wraith Prism cooler with additional heat pipes.

It has come to our attention that third-party coolers using six heat pipes that are designed to look like an official AMD Wraith Prism solution, including the illegitimate use of AMD branding, are now entering the market.  Please be aware that those solutions are not genuine AMD products and have not been tested and validated by AMD to meet our build quality and performance requirements.

We are actively investigating the source of these products and will take necessary actions to enforce our rights to ensure users receive genuine AMD products. If you have any questions about the origin of a cooler, please verify the solution .

3.be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4

Features

OUR TAKE

We review another be quiet! Dark Rock series cooler, this is the PRO 4. Again with totally black looks the flagship cooler comes with two radiators, two fans and takes up that cooling performance towards 200 Watts of cooling power, enough for any processor and some tweaking of course as well.

Looking closer at the Dark Rock PRO 4 one could say, that be quiet! did a D15 here, however, this one is powder coated in an all black design, will that extra coating have an adverse effect on cooling performance? It comes fitted with two silent wing fans, in the middle a 135mm and at the top a 120mm one.

There really aren’t any bad performing coolers being produced anymore. For every segment and budget, you can find something you need. The market stabilized and within the entire range and scope of heatpipe based coolers, there’s a certain comfort zone with a corresponding product available

5.Scythe Fuma 2

Features

OUR TAKE

For those who are unaware of who Scythe is, it may be time to crawl out from under that rock! They have done well in our time working with them to tend to gravitate to the top half of our charts, yet can do so without charging massive amounts of money for their cooling solutions.

It used to be that many top performers could be found in the wild for fifty dollars or less, but the market and economy seemed to have changed, to where now many companies find no issue charging double what the industry used to consider “normal.” However, we are not here to bash companies; we are here to praise Scythe for being one of the ever-shrinking list of a few manufacturers that believe you should not have to take out a loan to grab a CPU cooler to obtain better than average results!
