Best Budget i7 Laptops Under 700

Best Budget i7 Laptops Under 700 – $700 is the median price for a suitable budget for a laptop. We have tried to keep in mind various aspects of these laptops and also the different needs of people with a budget of fewer than 700 dollars. Usually, buying a laptop is like a one-time investment, you can’t upgrade all hardware as you like later, not like a desktop PC. Therefore, it’s always recommended to select the correct hardware options and specifications which can meet your future requirement also.

1.ASUS VivoBook 15

Pros & Cons

The display is where the quality is a bit of a letdown. The resolution is full HD (1,920 by 1,080 pixels), which is good, but the screen is a bit washed out, particularly at full brightness. The whites and light colors are too bright, while dark colors are not dark enough, and there’s a bit of light bleed, too.

It never looks quite right, but lowering the brightness helps matters a little. The panel doesn’t seem particularly sharp, either; perhaps it’s a result of the brightness, but the text lacks a bit of clarity. It’s hard to see any of this in the photo below (and at least the bezels are slim!) but it’s evident in use.

2.Lenovo Ideapad L340

Pros & Cons

The low price is the biggest plus. Lenovo has polished the chassis of the V155 a bit and put cheap, but also game-ready hardware into the 15-inch case.

The result is the IdeaPad L340 Gaming, which has a price of less than 800 Euros (~$872). Of course, there is no high-end gaming here. In our review, we will show exactly where compromises need to be made.

3.Acer Aspire E 15

Pros & Cons

Acer offers the Aspire E 15 in a number of configurations at a variety of prices. The  base model that I reviewed is the least expensive. It comes equipped with an Intel Core i3-8130U CPU, 6GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD.

My colleague, Henry T. Casey, reviewed themodel, which comes with a more powerful Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD and a Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card. Check out our face-off between that configuration of the Aspire E 15 and the Asus VivoBook S15, another recommended mid-range laptop. For , the high-end Aspire E 15 upgrades you to a Core i7 CPU.

4.HP 15 Laptop

Pros & Cons

The HP 15 Laptop, or the 15-DB0069WM, only costs $436, but for that relatively low price you have to deal with a washed out 15.6-inch, low-resolution panel and poor battery life packed in a dull design. While the HP 15 offers decent performance and features a comfortable keyboard, that isn’t enough for us to fully recommend it.

HP’s website sells another version of the laptop that starts at $1,239 and comes with a Core i7-7500U processor, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD and a 1366 x 768 display, which is a complete rip off.

5.Dell G3

Pros & Cons

The Dell G3 15  is the very definition of an entry-level gaming laptop: simple design, modest performance, and a low price. It elevates its game somewhat with a 120Hz full HD display, which its GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics chip can leverage in online multiplayer games, but it can’t quite push AAA titles to 60 frames per second (fps) at higher settings.

The small 256GB SSD in our review unit is restrictive for a game library, so we’d recommend upping the capacity. Overall it’s a competent machine, but its performance is rather ordinary, and you can find better values just below and above this price, chiefly the Acer Nitro 5 and the MSI Bravo 15.
