- ASUS Eye Care technology with flicker-free and blue light filter to minimize eye fatigue
- Ergonomic stand with full height/tilt/swivel/pivot adjustments to accommodate any desk

- Free Sync/Adaptive Sync technology with 75 Hz refresh rate for a tear-free experience with AMD Radeon GPU
The ASUS VG245H is a decent monitor for mixed usage. It can get bright to be used in an average lit office and its response time will please most gamers. However, it does not support HDR and it is not good for use in a dark room.
The ASUS VG245H is a 1080p monitor with a TN panel which is great for gaming, but only decent for mixed usage. It has mediocre picture quality as blacks appear gray in a dark room, and the viewing angle is very bad so the sides of the screen look washed out when viewed from up close. The 75Hz refresh rate makes it feel a bit more responsive than other 60Hz monitors for gaming.
2.ASUS ROG Swift
Features
- 24.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) Fast IPS panel and the world’s first 360Hz gaming monitor

- NVIDIA G-SYNC processor provides smooth, tear-free gaming at refresh rates up to 360Hz
- An intelligent cooling system featuring a custom heatsink to provide more surface area for heat exchange, ensuring efficient cooling during marathon gaming sessions

- What’s in the box: DisplayPort cable, HDMI cable, USB cable, power adapter, power cord, quick start guide, warranty card, input/output port cover, color calibration report, ROG Welcome card with envelope, ROG sticker
The ASUS PG279QZ is a very good monitor for most uses. Its 27 inch screen and 1440p resolution let you work comfortably, with plenty of space for multiple windows opened at the same time. Gamers should be happy with its high refresh rate, low input lag, and G-SYNC support.
Dark room performance is rather disappointing, but it performs well in bright rooms and it has wide viewing angles, so you can share your work or for some co-op gaming. Color accuracy is good; however, its coverage of Adobe RGB may not be sufficient for professional photo or video editing.
3.GIGABYTE M27Q
Features
- 27" 2560x1440 SS IPS Display
- 170Hz Refresh Rate, 0.5ms (MPRT) Response Time
- Smooth Gameplay with AMD FreeSync Premium
- Studio Grade VESA Display HDR400 and 92% DCI-P3 (140% sRGB) Color Gamut. Tilt(angle) : minus-5° - plus-20°
- Control multiple devices with KVM.GIGABYTE Classic Tactical Features with OSD Sidekick. GIGABYTE Auto-Update. Ergonomic Design with Tilt and Height Adjustments. Low Blue Light & Flicker-Free. VESA Wall Mount Compatible 100x100mm
The Gigabyte M27Q is an excellent 1440p gaming monitor suitable for a wide variety of uses. It has a large 27 inch screen that provides an immersive gaming experience and plenty of screen real estate for work. It has an incredibly low input lag, exceptional response time, and a high refresh rate to deliver smooth and responsive gameplay. Its IPS panel has wide viewing angles that make it easier to share content or play co-op games; however, it comes at the cost of a lower contrast ratio, which makes blacks appear gray in dark environments.
Unfortunately, it lacks swivel adjustment and can’t rotate to portrait mode, and even though it supports HDR, it doesn’t get quite bright enough to deliver a true HDR experience. On the upside, it has tons of additional features, including a Picture-in-Picture/Picture-by-Picture mode, a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, and a KVM feature that lets you control two devices with your mouse and keyboard.
4.AORUS FI27Q-P
Features
- 27” 2560x1440 IPS Display with 165Hz Refresh Rate, 1 ms Response Time
- NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible for smooth Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) Gaming Experience
- High Bit Rate 3 Ready! (HBR3), Tactical Display with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC 2.0)
- Exclusive AORUS Features - Game Assist, OSD Sidekick and Dashboard
- Ergonomic Design with Swivel, Tilt and Height Adjustments
- Built-In Digital RGB LED Backlighting, HDR & 95% DCI-P3, FreeSync Compatible
- Flicker-Free Display & Built-In Power Board, Low Blue Light TÜV Rheinland Certified
- VESA Certified HDR Display, 10 bits color IPS for more vibrant colors
The Aorus FI27Q-P is Gigabyte’s third 27″ 1440p 144Hz gaming monitor based on the same IPS panel by Innolux.
What makes this particular model different from the other two is the factory-overclocked 165Hz refresh rate and the inclusion of DisplayPort 1.4, which allows for 10-bit color with 1440p at a refresh rate of over 120Hz.
Keep in mind that the Aorus FI27Q (without ‘-P’) is a different monitor; it is the successor to the older Aorus AD27QD model. Both of them have a native refresh rate of 144Hz and DisplayPort 1.2, but the FI27Q can be overclocked to 165Hz with 8-bit color depth.

- Awe-Inspiring Graphics With HDR10: A kaleidoscope of shades brings game scenes to life more vibrantly than ever before; Uncover the secrets hiding in the shadows with deep dark blacks, luminous whites, and outstandingly detailed resolution
The Samsung Odyssey G5 is a good gaming monitor. It has a large screen and high resolution, great for playing atmospheric games like RPGs. Motion handling is good, as it has a high refresh rate and quick response time to make fast motion look clear and buttery smooth.
Its input lag is exceptionally low, and it supports variable refresh rate technology to reduce screen tearing. Sadly, it has terrible ergonomics and sub-par viewing angles, so it isn’t the best option for co-op gaming.
