2.Sony X80J 55 Inch
- 4K HDR PROCESSOR X1 – Powerful TV processing that delivers a picture that is smooth and clear, full of rich colors and detailed contrast.
- TRILUMINOS PRO – Reproduces more colors than a conventional TV resulting in picture quality that is natural and precise, and closer than ever to real life.
The Sony X80J is okay for mixed usage. It performs decently in bright rooms, and its wide viewing angles are great for wider seating arrangements. However, its low contrast ratio makes it less suited to watching movies or gaming in the dark.
Gamers may be disappointed by its lack of advanced gaming features, but its low input lag and fast response time should be fine for casual gaming. Unfortunately, it can’t get bright enough to deliver a satisfying HDR experience.back to menu ↑

Now’s a great time to buy a new PC gaming monitor. So many games are enhanced with great graphics, there are always Acer deals to be had (no need to wait for Black Friday 2020) and there’s a massive range to choose from. High quality graphics are super important when you’re playing and the gaming monitors sometimes sold with PCs are pretty rubbish. You may also want to use a monitor alongside a gaming laptop.
The display size, also known as viewable image size (VIS) is the physical size of the area where videos are displayed – not the monitor case itself. The size of a screen is the length of its diagonal, which is the distance between opposite corners, usually in inches. 4.Acer Nitro XV272U Pb
- 27" WQHD (2560 x 1440) widescreen IPS zero frame monitor with AMD Radeon freesync technology
- Response time: 1ms VRB and refresh rate: 144Hzz.Colour Supported:1.07 Billion
The Acer Nitro XV272U KVbmiiprzx is an excellent 1440p gaming monitor. It uses an IPS panel with wide viewing angles, and it has excellent ergonomics so that you can place the screen in a comfortable viewing position. It has a 170Hz refresh rate and exceptional response times to deliver a smooth gaming experience. Its input lag is incredibly low, and it has both native FreeSync support and G-SYNC compatibility to reduce screen tearing.
It can display a wide color gamut for HDR with excellent tone mapping, and it gets decently bright enough to make some highlights pop. However, its SDR brightness is significantly lower, which means it might not be able to combat glare in a well-lit environment. It’s also not the best for dark rooms because it has a low contrast ratio that makes blacks look gray.back to menu ↑
5.LG 43” IPS
- 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS
- HDCP 2. 2 Compatible
The LG 43UD79-B is one of the most feature-packed 4K displays from the famous company known for their high-quality IPS-based products. This USB-C compatible TV-sized wonder is designed as a more affordable spin-off of LG’s Ultrafine monitors which filled the gap when Apple abandoned sales of its Retina displays. The LG 43UD79-B aims at business-oriented users who want a crisp and clear screen matched with practical features for unmatched versatility.
The LG 43UD79-B comes with a sophisticated, all-business aesthetic finished in matte black which matches the personality this product is projecting. There are thin plastic bezels on the front, but they are hardly noticeable against the 43-inch display even when it’s turned on. The overall frontal looks clean and neat, although the product somehow looks like one of LG’s older generation LED TVs.back to menu ↑
