1.ASUS VP249QGR 23.8”
- 23. 8 inch Full HD (1920x1080) LED backlit display with IPS 178° wide viewing angle panel
- Up to 144Hz refresh rate with Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync ) technology to eliminate tracing and ensure crisp and clear video playback
The ASUS VP249QGR is an affordable 24″ 1080p 144Hz IPS gaming monitor. It provides excellent image quality, smooth performance and many useful features for the price. There are better (though slightly more expensive) alternatives, but if you have a limited budget you won’t be disappointed by the VP249QGR.
The ASUS VP249QGR is yet another 24″ 1080p 144Hz gaming monitor based on PANDA’s IPS panel. It’s the least expensive model, but as such, it skimps on certain features such as design versatility.
Its performance and image quality, however, are on par with (or even better) certain more expensive alternatives! Overall, it’s an excellent budget gaming monitor.back to menu ↑
2.Sceptre IPS 27 inch
- IPS Panel: The IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel cannot be beat when it comes to consistently delivering top color performance and sharp visibility from multiple viewing angles.
- 165Hz Refresh Rate: Pushing beyond the standard refresh rate, 165Hz gives gamers an edge in visibility as frames transition instantly, leaving behind no blurred images.
Sceptre x270W monitor; it’s large, easy to read, you can generally pick them up fairly cheap, and they aren’t bad looking on your desk. The DVI, HDMI, and VGA inputs make it work with pretty much everything, I could definitely see myself plugging my Xbox into the Sceptre if I was limited on space.
For gaming, the Sceptre x270W works great. The large size and high resolution makes it perfect for this, and the 2ms response time means there’s no smearing when you’re playing an FPS. The screen is bright and crisp, and it’s excellent for watching movies as well.
I also found that the base is supportive, but limited in its range of motion. This isn’t a huge issue, but it was slightly annoying when I was setting up the monitor initially. If you move or adjust your monitor a lot, it might be more of an issue.back to menu ↑
3.ASUS 24″ 1080P
- 24 inch Full HD (1920x1080) display with an overclockable 165Hz (supports 144Hz) rapid refresh rate and 0.5ms (GTG) response time
- NVIDIA G-SYNC technology removes stutter and screen tearing for the smoothest gaming experience
Dithering is also a common method to get 8-bit color for 16.7 million colors on IPS panel monitors at this price range.
Don’t worry, the difference between true 8-bit and 6-bit + 2-bit FRC color is not perceptible.
Thanks to its IPS panel, the ASUS VA24EHE monitor offers accurate, consistent, and vivid colors. Further, thanks to the wide 178° viewing angles, the colors will stay perfect regardless of the angle you’re looking at the screen.
Now, VA panel monitors have a higher static contrast ratio of ~3,000:1. So, they’ll have much deeper blacks and more vivid details in shadows, but not as consistent colors or wide viewing angles as the IPS models.back to menu ↑
4.ASUS TUF Gaming VG289Q
- 28-inch 4K (3840x2160) IPS DCI-P3 grade gaming monitor for stunning crisp and detailed visuals
- Compatible with industry-standard HDR10 high dynamic range for color and brightness levels that exceed the capabilities of ordinary monitors
Users looking for Ultra HD on the cheap no longer have to settle for a TN panel with a reduced feature set. The VG289Q proves that with a high-quality IPS screen, DCI-P3 color and HDR. And while it comes with FreeSync and isn’t Nvidia-certified as G-Sync Compatible, it ran G-Sync just fine in our tests (see how with our instructions on how to run G-Sync on a FreeSync monitor). Both Adaptive-Sync flavors worked with HDR and the display’s full color gamut.
The backlight is a flicker-free LED arrayed at the edge. There is no zone dimming or additional dynamic contrast available for HDR. You’ll see in our tests that the luminance range is about the same for both SDR and HDR content. The monitor displays all content content in the extended color gamut, which by our calculations runs around 80% of DCI-P3.back to menu ↑
5.LG 32QN600-B 32-Inch
- 32” QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS Display
- SRGB 99% Color Gamut
LG 32QN600-B 32-Inch QHD Monitor class screen provides more than 70% more viewable area compared to a 24 inch monitor (16: 9). The QHD (2560 x 1440) clarity and sRGB 99% Color Gamut reproduction of the IPS panel enhance every project, even when viewed off-angle. The easy-to-use On-Screen Control optimizes monitor settings for the job at hand, while Reader Mode ensures comfortable viewing for extended work sessions. And the 3-Side virtually borderless design looks great on any desktop.
LG 32QN600-B Play as hard as you work with faster, smoother gaming tech. AMD FreeSync reduces image tears and choppiness with more efficient communication between monitor and graphics card. While gaming tech gives you the advantage — Black Stabilizer enhances vision, Dynamic Action Sync improves response and gaming modes customize your experience.back to menu ↑
