1.BenQ EX2780Q

Features

OUR TAKE

The BenQ EX2780Q is an impressive gaming monitor that delivers a smooth gaming experience thanks to its high refresh rate, low response time, and FreeSync support. It has an IPS panel with exceptionally low input lag, though its contrast ratio is rather mediocre, making it less ideal for dark rooms.

It’s also a great monitor for media consumption, as it has built-in speakers and comes with a remote control, so you can just sit back and enjoy a movie or a show. The monitor’s size and resolution provide ample space for multitasking, and its wide viewing angles are great for sharing content or for co-op gaming.

2.BenQ EX3203R

Features

OUR TAKE

The EX3203R’s 31.5-inch, 10-bit vertical alignment (VA) panel has a native resolution of 2,560 by 1,440 pixels (QHD), with a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. Its pixel density of 93 pixels per inch (ppi) is fine for a gaming or general entertainment monitor, though it’s not ideal for tasks such as editing photos. (All else being equal, the greater the pixel density, the sharper the image should be.)

The screen is sharply curved, rated for 1800R curvature. This means that if you could place enough EX3203R monitors side by side to form a complete circle, it would have a radius of 1,800mm, or 1.8 meters. Curved screens offer the user a more immersive experience than flat screens. We have only seen two or three monitors, all gaming models, with a curvature greater than 1800R, the maximum being 1500R.

3.BenQ PD2700Q

Features

OUR TAKE

The cabinet is supported by a rectangular stand and mounting arm that provide tilt, swivel, height, and pivot adjustments, but you can remove the stand and use the four VESA mounting holes with an optional mounting kit to hang the monitor on a wall.

There are six buttons on the right side of the cabinet for accessing the settings menus and turning the power on and off, and there are a handful of I/O ports around back, facing downward. Here, you’ll find two DisplayPort inputs (full size and Mini), an HDMI input, an audio output, and three USB 2.0 ports (one upstream, two downstream). The two embedded 1-watt speakers are adequate for light duty, but lack bass and sound tinny.

4.BenQ EW3270U

Features

OUR TAKE

The BenQ EW3270U is a good 4k monitor with decent picture quality. It has a VA panel with a high native contrast ratio and decent black uniformity, allowing it to produce deep, uniform blacks. It has a low input lag and fast response time to deliver clear images with minimal motion blur; however, the refresh rate is limited to 60Hz. Gamers will surely appreciate its FreeSync support and G-SYNC compatibility, and although it supports HDR, this monitor can’t get bright enough for a satisfying HDR experience.

Also, its ergonomics are quite bad and its viewing angles are just okay, so it may be worth investing in a VESA mount if you often need to share work or content. Overall, it’s a monitor that performs well for most uses and its simple design should fit anywhere.

5.BenQ ZOWIE XL2540

Features

OUR TAKE

The BenQ ZOWIE XL2540 is a decent monitor for mixed usage. Motion handling is excellent, which makes it a good candidate for gaming and other fast-paced activities. However, the picture quality is sub-par. When sitting close to the monitor, the edges of the screen lose contrast and saturation due to the narrow viewing angle.

The BenQ ZOWIE XL2540 is 240Hz gaming monitor with a TN panel that is full of gaming features. It’s incredibly responsive due to the high refresh rate and exceptionally low input lag, and also has the ability to flicker the backlight to clear up motion. It supports FreeSync variable refresh rate technology (VRR) which reduces screen tearing, however, the picture quality is below average, and the edges of the screen lose accuracy due to the narrow viewing angle.
