Best Monitors for 3 Screen Setup

Best Monitors for 3 Screen Setup – Triple monitor setups became widespread in the 2010s after Nvidia launched its Surround Technology that spans the PC’s output via three similar screens. The ability to play and work on a 5760 x 1080 seemed exciting when it first appeared, as it gave users great visibility and a limitless workspace. Nowadays, most monitor brands develop ultrawide screens to replace triple options with one item for convenience and usability.

1.AOC 24G2

Features

OUR TAKE

The AOC 24G2 is excellent for gaming. It has a low input lag, a high refresh rate, and an exceptional response time to deliver a smooth gaming experience. The 1080p screen isn’t very immersive, but it makes it easier to see the whole screen at once, and the lower resolution puts a lighter load on the graphics card, achieving higher frame rates. While its contrast is quite good for an IPS panel, blacks still look gray in the dark.

It handles reflections well, though, and it gets bright enough to combat glare. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support HDR, and while its contrast is quite good for an IPS panel, blacks still look grayish in the dark.

2.Alienware NEW AW2720HF

Features

OUR TAKE

The Alienware AW2720HF is a good monitor for most uses. Its 27 inch screen is great for gaming, media consumption, and productivity; however, its 1080p resolution may be too low for some. Response time and input lag are superb, and its 240Hz refresh rate delivers images with fluid motion. Sadly, it doesn’t perform well in dark rooms and it doesn’t support any HDR format.

The Dell Alienware AW2720HF is a good monitor with impressive gaming performance and a sleek, modern design. It features a 240Hz IPS panel to provide smooth gameplay, and it has native FreeSync support to reduce screen tearing. Unfortunately, its sub-par contrast ratio and awful black uniformity aren’t ideal for dark rooms, and the lack of HDR support is disappointing. Overall, it’s a good monitor for gamers who prioritize motion handling over a detailed, high-resolution image.

5.LG 27GL650F-B

Features

OUR TAKE

The LG UltraGear 27GL650F-B is a good 1080p, 144Hz IPS monitor with great gaming performance. It has an excellent response time resulting in clear motion, a black frame insertion feature to reduce motion blur, a low input lag, and a fast refresh rate.

It delivers decent overall picture quality, with wide viewing angles, excellent gray uniformity, and great accuracy out of the box. Unfortunately, like most IPS monitors it doesn’t look as good in a dark room, as it has a low contrast ratio and poor black uniformity. This monitor supports HDR, but this doesn’t add much, as it can’t get very bright in HDR and can’t display a wide color gamut.
