Pros & Cons

Build quality is middle-of-the-road, with a few tradeoffs that place it a few steps behind Samsung’s high-end monitors like the 28-inch Samsung UH750. For one, the plastic build feels cheap than usual and the entire package feels excessively light and fragile.

A Y-shaped base props it onto a desk, and the orientation takes less desk space. Still, 27-inches isn’t small for any office desk, it provides ample space for multitasking despite the hinge type attachment being a clear weak link. The C27F398 only has tilt-only mechanism, an omission that most competitors correct with inclusion of at least height adjustment and sometimes pivot adjustment.

2.SAMSUNG 27-Inch

Pros & Cons

Samsung CHG70 27-Inch Curved Monitor is a much more conventional monitor than that supersize behemoth. Its resolution and aspect ratio are commonplace among 27-inch gaming monitors, and its appearance—apart from the novel design of its base—is unassuming.

The  CHG70 does stand out, however, for a winning mixture of features and performance at its price. It does a nice job displaying both games and video in standard definition and HDR (the latter with the expected vivid color and excellent contrast). It features a wide color gamut and a super-high native refresh rate of 144Hz, and it supports AMD’s latest iteration of its adaptive sync technology, FreeSync 2, for Radeon-card loyalists. It’s enough to make it our latest Editors’ Choice gaming monitor.

3.SAMSUNG Odyssey G5

Pros & Cons

The Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55T is a good budget gaming monitor with a 1440p resolution. It’s better suited for a dark to moderately-lit room, as it has a high contrast ratio to produce deep blacks but doesn’t get bright enough to overcome intense glare.

It has a quick response time, high refresh rate, and low input lag, resulting in a smooth and responsive gaming experience. On top of that, it has FreeSync support and G-SYNC compatibility. Unfortunately, it has sub-par viewing angles and terrible ergonomics, so it isn’t the best choice for co-op gaming or sharing content. Also, even though it supports HDR, it has a low peak brightness and can’t display a wide color gamut.

Pros & Cons

Now’s a great time to buy a new PC gaming monitor. So many games are enhanced with great graphics, there are always Samsung deals to be had (no need to wait for Black Friday 2020) and there’s a massive range to choose from. High quality graphics are super important when you’re playing and the gaming monitors sometimes sold with PCs are pretty rubbish. You may also want to use a monitor alongside a gaming laptop.

The display size, also known as viewable image size (VIS) is the physical size of the area where videos are displayed – not the monitor case itself. The size of a screen is the length of its diagonal, which is the distance between opposite corners, usually in inches. The display size of this large monitor is 27 inches. 5.Samsung Business SH850

Pros & Cons

The SH850 Series 23.8″ 16:9 FreeSync LCD Monitor from Samsung is built with their PLS (Plane to Line Switching) panel technology, which delivers enhanced image quality and wide 178° viewing angles. It features a 2560 x 1440 Quad HD resolution and a fast 5 ms response time for crisp, clear, and fast content reproduction. Thanks to its 300 cd/m² brightness rating, 1000:1 static contrast ratio, and support for 16.7 million colors, you’ll be able to enjoy vivid colors with deeper blacks and brighter bright colors.

Connect this display to your system via USB Type-C, DisplayPort, or HDMI. Then tilt, swivel, pivot, and adjust its height to your viewing preference. Otherwise, you can install an optional mount, stand, or arm using the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting holes on the back. For your convenience, it has a built-in USB hub with three ports, allowing you to easily connect peripherals.
