Getting this component mix in an all-metal ultraportable for less than is a steal, and I haven’t even mentioned the ZenBook’s all-day battery life. And yet we can’t offer a full-throated recommendation for the model UX425JA despite its appeal. How is this so? Timing, they say, is everything.

For those of you not keeping up with chipset changes, AMD’s increment from the 300 series to 400 series primarily includes improvements for board physical specifications to formally support XFR2 (an update of AMD’s extended frequency range feature) and Precision Boost Override for what AMD calls its 2nd Generation Ryzen chips (Ryzen 2000 series).
AMD provides specifications for layer counts and supported memory speeds, regulator design requirements, and other stipulations for these refreshed boards. Between X470 and B450, the same IO support dynamic that was found with last year’s X370/B350 remains. In other words, B series boards support fewer USB3.0 Gen1, PCIe Gen3 x16 slots, and PCIe Gen2 lanes than their more expensive brothers. For more details, you can check the chart above.

7.Dell Optiplex
Features
The Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra is one of the best mini PCs we’ve ever reviewed, with a design that’s much smaller than the likes of the Apple Mac mini, but without the compromises that come with a stick PC like the Azulle Access3. But what’s most striking about this particular PC is how well the OptiPlex 7070 Ultra goes beyond being easy to hide, and simply disappears into your desktop setup.
When you think of innovative computer designs, mini PCs and all-in-one desktops probably aren’t where your mind turns. But the Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra manages to do just that, remixing the all-in-one concept with a shockingly slim design that slots into a specially designed monitor stand, transforming the accompanying monitor into a highly capable office all-in-one.
As you’ll discover in this Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra review, it reimagines the office PC as a system that is at once modular and exceedingly sleek and clean.

Best Intel Motherboards Under 100 – BUYER’S GUIDE
Form Factor (Smaller Motherboards Have Fewer Options)
Standard ATX motherboards have the most options. Moving down to Micro ATX gets you fewer ports and features and moving a step down to Mini ITX gets you the bare essentials in most cases. You will give up on M.2 slots, PCIe slots, and even RAM slots as you shift to a smaller motherboard. So do keep that in mind when deciding which motherboard to buy.
Future-proofing
You should not pay for features that you are not going to use. If you use ethernet for gaming, which we recommend, then you should not be paying extra for Wi-Fi on the motherboard. But you should pay for features that you might need in the future like USB 3.1 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3 support. These can come in handy and in this case planning ahead might be a good idea in the long-run.
Memory Support
ATX motherboards come with 4 RAM slots but that can change if you get a smaller motherboard. You can get a pair of 16GB RAM sticks for a total of 32 GB but that can cost a lot of money. If you have 4 RAM slots then you can buy a pair of 8 GB sticks and get another pair later on. This way, the will still be running in dual-channel. All this depends on your budget and personal preference. You might be fine using a single stick of RAM even though we do not recommend it.
Expansions Slots and Connectors
You are going to need PCIe slots for your graphics cards and high-speed storage solutions. You will need connectors for display. If you have a CPU that does not come with integrated graphics, like the 9400F then you will have to rely on the ports on your graphics card for display output.
