ROUND UP
1.AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
But the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X may have changed all that. This CPU might just be the best available option. It’s just as capable with single-threaded tasks as it is with multi-threaded ones. AMD’s Ryzen 5000 presentation made this clear, as the company zeroed in on gaming, with creative applications taking a back seat.
Rounded out by PCIe 4.0 support, which Intel still hasn’t implemented, the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X leads AMD processors to finally take the CPU crown. With it, there’s really no reason to buy an Intel processor for that gaming PC you’re building.
It was always believed that you go with AMD for top-notch multi-threaded performance needed for professional and creative applications. But, if you’re trying to squeeze every ounce of performance for the best PC games, it was assumed that Intel was the best processor for the job.

They always seem to give you just what you need without all of the extra things that you just won’t use. By doing this they are able to keep the price of the boards pretty reasonable as well. Another thing that is great to see is many high-end features from their ROG and Strix lines have made their way down to the PRIME boards.
When AMD launched their Ryzen 3000 series processors we took a look at boards from pretty much everyone except ASUS, today we are taking a look at our first! We’ve always been fans of ASUS’s PRIME series of motherboards

3.ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PRO
Asus’ TUF Gaming X570-Pro WiFi is one of the cheaper X570 options available, giving it an early edge as it vies for a spot on our best motherboards list.
At the time of publishing, the matured Asus X570 lineup includes options from the TUF, Prime, Strix, WS (Workstation), and ROG lines, a total of 14 boards. Since we last checked, Asus added a Mini-ITX option, which was the only form-factor missing. Today, the product stack consists of a wide variety of motherboards in varying sizes, feature sets, and price points. There is likely something for everyone in the company’s X570 lineup.
Digging down into the performance results, we saw slightly below average scores/times in long-running CPU heavy multi-threaded tests such as Cinebench, Handbrake, POV-Ray and Corona. The PCMark 10 suite was on the opposite side of things, generally running as fast or faster than most other boards we’ve tested.
